The Hermetic Cubism of Braque and Picasso, 1907-1911, captivated DAB's attention the most; and although hermetic cubism (the compression of space and time on one plane) may not be aesthetically pleasing, it remains in DAB's opinion to be the most innovative concept to date.

It was DAB's studies in Picasso's hermetic cubic paintings, DALI's Surrealism, and M.C. Esher's reflective and spiraling infinities that led DAB to produce his drawings which enable a changing of subject matter upon the z-axis. Due to the complexity blueprints are being made to assist the viewers. DAB opines that nothing else to date, in the category of drawing, captures such complexity.
